2026 Youth School Safety PSA Contest

Youth Initiatives

Please review the following participation rules before submitting your entry.

  1. The contest is for Texas students in grades 6-12 who attend public, private, charter, or homeschool.
  2. Students can participate as individuals or as part of a team.
  3. Entries must be submitted with an adult sponsor (ex: teacher, youth group sponsor, parent, etc.)
  4. You must upload a signed video release form for each person shown in the video or your entry is disqualified.
  5. The deadline to submit your entry is Friday, May 1 by 5:00pm Central Time.

Once you have submitted your entry you will receive an email confirming receipt of your submission. If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact staff at txssc_yss@txstate.edu.
