In order to register for this workshop you must complete the following steps:
Complete the online Behavioral Threat Assessment course through the School Safety Learning Portal: This course will introduce key concepts of threat assessment and is a required prerequisite for the in-person School Threat Assessment Workshop.
Upon completion of the online Behavioral Threat Assessment course you will be provided a completion code, use that code to access the in-person School Threat Assessment Workshop Registration Form.
This training is open to public ISDs, open enrollment charter schools, school-based law enforcement, and any state agency that serves on an identified Threat Assessment team. Please note that in order to serve as many districts and charter schools, no more than 5 participants per district (ISD) or charter school will be able to attend the in-person workshop. Slots will be filled in the order received.
Each registrant must be identified as a district/charter school Threat Assessment team member. Also, the completion of both the online course and the in-person workshop will meet the new state requirements for threat assessment training.
*Please Note: A Digital Threat Assessment Workshop will take place the day after. If interested in attending, you must register separately for the workshop.
